Frequently asked questions

What is the best way to get the extenders to pair?
It is recommended that you power up the extenders only, wait until you get a solid status light on both transmitter and receivers. Once you see a solid status light on both, this indicated that units are paired. When the HDMI source is connected on transmitter and HDMI output is connected to display on the receiver, the status light will begin to flash. Indicating they are paired and detecting the source. HDMI light will be lit on the transmitter or receiver indicating a display is detected. Your signal should appear.
How to configure many to many set up with JTD-611v3
For many to many set up, you have to change your SSID as the more receivers is connected to a transmitter, more power is being utilized so it's difficult for the transmitter to send signal. Recommended set up is 2 receivers per transmitter. 3 receivers has been accomplish but chances of interference can happen. Step 1: Power on your first transmitter, leaving the second transmitter off Step 2: Go into your network settings and connect to JTD_HDMI_Wireless_1 Password: 00000000(eight 0's) Step 3: Go into a web browser and type in it's IP address: 192.168.1.10 password: "admin" Step 4: Change the SSID of the 1st transmitter to JTD_HDMI_Wireless_2 and hit save Step 5: Now start powering on both your receivers and connect it to the transmitter. The two receivers will now hold the SSID of JTD_HDMI_Wireless_2 even if rebooted. The second transmitter can keep the SSID of JTD_HDMI_Wireless_1 so you can go ahead and connect the other receivers to that first transmitter. Now you will be able to use both the transmitters at the same time without any network conflicts.
Why am I not getting any picture or sound on my device?
1) Make sure the source device is connected to the Transmitter (Tx) 2) Make sure the Receiver (Rx) is connected to the Output Device (TV Projector) 3) Double check your HDMI cables, make sure your units have both the POWER and STATUS lights on. 4) Make sure the source is using a supported resolution, maximum is 1080p. 5) Make sure the unit is within operating range (200ft) 6) If the Transmitter (tx) of one pair is competing with other Transmitters (Tx) they maybe interfering with each other, refer to the FAQ about configuring a many to many setups.
