- First you will need to connect your display to the HDMI outport on the extractor. Connect an optical audio port from the optical out to your sound bar or surround sound. Press the ARC button on the extractor to enable the ARC function. Set TV audio output to ARC/HDMI output. You should now be able to get your TV audio to your sound system or sound bar.
- Can You Extract from HDMI ARC on your display to the HDMI Out Audio Only Port?
- You can only extract from HDMI ARC port to the Optical Out port on the JTD-302.
- Can I passthrough my videogame consoles or PC with a higher refresh rate through this audio extractor?
- Yes, this extractor allows you to output higher refresh rates up to 4K @120 Hz.
- What do the colors on Status light mean on the Audio Extractor?
- Red= 2.0 Audio Blue= 5.1 Audio Purple= 7.1 Audio Off = Bypass
- Does ARC audio pass through the HDMI audio only port?
- No, it does not. You will need to have a source on the HDMI input in order to get audio from the HDMI audio only port.
