What network switch do I need?: The switch needs to supports IGMP Querier and IGMP Snooping. PoE is optional. For best results we recommend our JTECH-NSP24 and JTECH-NSP48 switches.
How do you login to the POE Switch?: 1) connect your PC to any of the ports on the POE switch except the console port. 2) change your pc's default IP scheme to match the switch's IP scheme 3) Start> Control Panel> Network and Sharing Center. 4) Change Adapter Settings. 5)Highlight the network adapter you want to use to connect to the device and click 6)Change settings of this connection. 7)The local Area commotion properties window for Network selection appears as below: 8)Click the Highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). 9)Click Properties. 10) Select Use the following IP Address for static IP addressing and fill in the details. 11) enter the POE switch's IP address in the web browser 12) login window will appear 13) enter the username "admin" and password "system" then click login
How do you update the firmware of the POE Switch?: 1)login to the web controls 2)go to "Device > Maintenance > Sofware Update. 3) Click "Browse"> select the latest file version, and click <OK> button to start the upgrade. 4) DO NOT POWER OFF THE DEVICE DURING THE UPGRADE PROCESS
